As much as possible, we are trying to connect with the people of the Canadian Arctic and bring the information we are learning about salmon in the Arctic back to the communities that are most affected. We do this through several outreach activities and if you have ideas for others, please contact us.
We have posted some presentations that have been made about the Arctic Salmon research project.
Looking for posters? We have distributed posters throughout the NWT regarding Arctic Salmon research.
We have also developed a brochure.
Our outreach activities also include:
- this website
- our Facebook page
- our involvement in Media (interviews and articles)
- poster with information about the reward program and how to identify salmon
- numerous presentations
- data sharing with the Aurora College GIS Department/ArcGIS Course (Inuvik, November 2011; Ft. Smith, February 2013)
